Stockholm & London, March 13, 2023.  Apstec Systems® (Apstec®) today announced that it will unveil a prototype of its unique new screening solution Human Security Scanner (HSS) at Security & Policing, the official UK Government global security event sponsored by the UK Home Office the 14-16th of March in Farnborough.   Visitors to the show, which includes those at the highest level of responsibility for operational decision-making in international law enforcement, security, civil protection and national resilience, will have the opportunity to preview Apstec’s revolutionary new solution, Human Security Scanner (HSS).

Designed to provide paramount security assurance, exceptional agility and a superior screening experience, HSS is a highly mobile next-generation screening system that fits easily and unobtrusively into the customer environment.  HSS can also be rapidly deployed for indoor or outdoor use, independent of infrastructure.  Using a unique combination of detection technologies and sophisticated algorithms, it provides automatic, non-invasive screening for explosives, weapons, narcotics and other prohibited substances, such as flammable liquids, hidden on the body or in bags.

‘Organizations and government agencies from around the world have been searching for practical, proportionate and cost effective screening solutions for some time. Based on a deep understanding of the screening requirement gained from years of operational experience with its pioneering product Human Security Radar, Apstec Systems was well placed to respond to this need.’ Said Stephen Cooper, Apstec’s COO.   ‘In Human Security Scanner, we are delivering the next-generation screening technology the market has been waiting for; it is cost-effective, deployed in minutes and has the ability to detect threats unlike any other technology.”

Apstec will be unveiling a prototype of HSS at Security & Policing at the Apstec booth number C111.
