Published on: 2022-05-12

Stockholm & Singapore, May 12, 2022. Apstec Systems® (Apstec®) today announced that it will demonstrate the new version of Human Security Radar®(HSR) Version 4 at Milipol Asia Pacific. Asptec’s innovative HSR system provides high-throughput, low contact security screening and ensures a seamless security experience for people being screened.

HSR is a fully automatic walkthrough system that enables non-invasive security screening of thousands of people an hour for improvised explosive devices, firearms and other weapons. HSR has been successfully deployed at high profile clients such as the Cannes Film Festival and Koelnmesse Exhibition Center among others. HSR Version 4 offers proven and effective functionality in an attractive, smaller and more mobile unit suited for deployments at prestigious locations.

As well as demonstrating the new version, Apstec’s senior management team will be presenting thought leadership sessions at Milipol. Chief Operating Officer Stephen Cooper OBE will share his substantial expertise in Homeland Security and CBRNE, gained from his roles with the British Government, the Olympics and the British Army with conference attendees in a Technology Seminar on May 20th entitled “High Footfall Screening hits the mainstream in the post Pandemic era.” The session considers developments in high footfall screening and highlights the ways in which technology can improve resilience, enhance the security screening experience and vastly improve the cost effectiveness of security operations, while contributing to the bottom line of the business in the post pandemic era.

“Apstec has made excellent progress in the Asian market despite the pandemic.  With the region re-opening for travel and attendance at public events now possible HSR’s ability to improve security effectiveness while reducing health risks has a key role to play in helping organizations get back to business safely and securely,” said Johan Adler, Apstec’s Head of Asia. “We are looking forward to engaging with customers, partners and prospects at Milipol in Singapore to demonstrate our new version and share exciting updates.”
